Glowing , Growing & Gifted Girls, G3
G3, is our philanthropic entity that empowers girls from our local community in grades 4-8 to develop positive self identity. We provide leadership training, mentoring and culturally affirming lessons and curriculum throughout the school year that ends in a culminating college tour and cultural experience.
Culturally Affirming Lessons
Creating lessons inspired by books like I am Enough & Hair Love have been not only affirming for the girls but has brought inspiration to all of our teacHER leaders too! Each lesson is crafted specifically to address adolescent issues and build confidence in each girl.
Leadership Training & Mentoring
Our core four values confidence, collaboration, creativity & courage are our north star for preparing leadHERs of tomorrow. Instilling a positive self identity is important for each girl and our mentors help teacHER to believe in herself.
College Tours
As an annual culminating activity we venture to a college or university to introduce the girls to options for the future. College tours have proven to be an inspiration, even if it is an early introduction for our girls, the memories they make will last a lifetime.
